Ceramica Verea is a family owned business established in 1957. The company had previously specialised in Spanish formats and profiles which they continue to export in great numbers to the Americas including the USA and Canada with their below zero ºC winters. The focus of Verea has always been to produce very high quality clay roof tiles with the very highest resistance to frosts yet competitively priced making this range perfect for house builders and housing developer.
Ceramica Verea is one of Spains most formidable clay tile manufacturers, in terms of quality and innovation they are difficult to match.
Ceramica Verea uses the very latest technology and equipment in order to produce this innovative lightweight clay tile, approximatley half the weight of conventional clay tiles ( per metre squared ) yet stronger and noticeably less wastage than its competitors due to the meticulously designed rear face with its undulating strengthening ribs.
There are many factors that combine to make an excellent clay tile, some of these include the local sources of fine clays from which to draw upon is a tremendous advantage from a technical point of view as well as ecologically beneficial to the environment. All the blends of clays used for production are stored indoors away from frosts, an uncontrolled humidity levels this is critical specially so in markets with frost cycles such as the UK and of course the perfect firing temperature at over 1,200º Celsius helps make the finished product absolutely perfect for cold wet climates for which these tiles were specifically designed for. Quality is not achieved by chance.
